“Making the Unknown Known” has been the story/credo of Michael Kleiner Public Relations and Web Design’s career.(see member spotlight). Long-time colleague, John Shiffert, also a proven, savvy PR pro who has also made the “unknown known,” has joined the team. We offer public relations campaigns—anniversaries, grand openings?--and writing expertise in a host of marketing/communications areas: press releases, blog writing, bios, company histories, web content, media kits, newsletters as well as brand management/development and social media strategies for membership associations and its members. Your web site is an extension of your PR/marketing so you receive a consistent look and voice in one stop. We love to tell stories—every business has them—but we are more than award-winning writers and story tellers, we’re strategic thinkers. We will see opportunity where others might not. MKPRWD has operated since 1999 with concentration on authors, small businesses and community organizations. 
 
Previously, Michael was Sports Information Director at what is now Philadelphia University, in the shadow of the Big 6 and 80 some other colleges in the area, and Director of Communications at Abington Friends School, where his highlight was promoting the 300th anniversary of the School. 
 
John spent 20 years as Director of University Relations at Clayton State University outside Atlanta, in the shadow of the University of Georgia, Georgia Tech, Emory and Georgia State. He promoted Clayton State’s  40th anniversary,  and was also Sports Information Director at Drexel University.
